McHenry Medical Group began with the association of 2 doctors in
Modesto in the mid-1940s. By 1969, the group had grown to 7
physicians, who then formed a corporation. Other associates joined
the group, becoming 12-strong by 1984 and representing the fields of
Internal Medicine,
General and Vascular Surgery, and
Gastroenterology.
Dermatology was added in 1989, and
Mohs Micrographic Surgery in 2007,
followed by Urology and
Endocrinology in 2008, and
Otolaryngology in 2009. McHenry Medical Group now has
19 physicians, 1 physician assistant, and nearly 100
clinical and administrative support staff, most of whom are located
in the McHenry Medical Building, adjacent to Doctors Medical
Center, Modesto.
