Stephen Gugenheim, M.D., became McHenry Medical Group's first otolaryngologist in September 2009, after moving to Modesto from Wichita Falls, Texas, where he practiced for 6 years. Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, Dr. Gugenheim is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology―Head and Neck Surgery.

A Colorado native, Dr. Gugenheim received his M.D. degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, then completed a 5-year internship/residency at UC San Diego. He received additional training in facial and plastic surgery in Switzerland. He also practiced in Oregon for 15 years before moving to Texas.

Dr. Gugenheim and his family are active in the Modesto community and enjoy the many amenities available in the area.
