Four renowned urologists with 30 years' experience in the Modesto area joined McHenry Medical Group on January 1, 2008, adding a Urology Department to the multispecialty practice. The physicians, a physician assistant, and dedicated medical staff continue to offer professional, highly skilled and personalized care to patients. The urology providers specialize in treatment of adult and pediatric urology, including concerns such as male infertility, impotence, incontinence, kidney stones, urinary tract infections, prostate enlargement and cancer. Treatment specialties include kidney stone lithotripsy, laser and robotic surgery. Appointments are offered at three locations: Modesto, Turlock, and Manteca.

Phillip H. Beck, M.D., earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, then completed his internship at the Letterman Army Medical Center, Presidio of San Francisco, where he also completed residency programs in surgery and urology. Dr. Beck is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of several medical societies, including the American Urological Association, American Medical Association, and American Fertility Society. In addition, he has published several articles on urological research and has held a number of prestigious teaching and hospital appointments.

C. Richard Dewar, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. He completed a urology residency at the University of California, Davis, following his internship and surgical residency at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Dewar is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of several medical societies, including the American Urological Association and the California Medical Association.

Robert B. Eisenberg, M.D., earned his medical degree in Guadalajara, Mexico, and interned at Long Island Jewish Hospital and Medical Center in New York. He completed his urology residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of several medical societies, including the American Urological Association and the California Medical Association.

Brian T. McCaffrey, M.D., received his medical degree in Dublin, Ireland, and interned at the Brooklyn-Cumberland Medical Center in New York, where he completed a residency program in internal medicine. He then completed a second residency in urology at Downstate Kings County Medical Center, where he was chief resident in his final year. He was a special fellow in urological oncology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. McCaffrey is an assistant professor on the clinical faculty of the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine. He maintains memberships in several regional and national medical societies, including the American Urological Association, the California Medical Association, and the American Fertility Society.

Kevin Wayne, PA-C, is a physician assistant certified in primary care and surgery, having received his education at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C. He evaluates and treats patients in the Modesto and Turlock offices for a full range of urological problems and assists in hospital consultations and rounds. Kevin worked as a freelance writer in the past, specializing in health topics, and served as a public information specialist for the state of Georgia. He is "functional" in medical Spanish.
